A few weeks ago, my family and I invaded my friend Laura Kelly‘s home for a little Sculpey clay playdate. (Would that be a claydate?) The day was just delightful. I know I post all the time about my two sets of twins, who are 9 and 11, but of course I have my big girl Kayley, too. She is now nineteen and living on her own and making her way in the world, and really, I just don’t see her that often. This whole “spread your wings and fly” thing is hard on us mamas. Anyway, Kayley and her awesome beau Darius stopped by Laura’s house as well, which made the day so special! Having all five of my kiddos around the table (six if you count Darius) was AWESOME. Getting us all in one picture proved to be pretty difficult, though!
We all worked so hard on our little projects! While we were creating, Laura baked yummy cookies for us and in between cookie batches, I think she threw all our Sculpey projects in to bake. They turned out awesome! I ended up repurposing old earrings to make wine bottle charms for Halloween!
These were a blast to make. I’ve actually had them hanging on my kitchen cabinet knobs all month long, and they make me smile every time I see them. My favorite part is the mustache on the pumpkin!
