I was recently part of Laura Kelly’s Popcorn Box Blog Hop, a fun little exercise in creativity, where a group of creative bloggers were invited to decorate a popcorn box in any way we wanted, using any materials we wanted. This sums up what we were trying to do:
“The objective is to create in whatever way you like best with whatever products you like to feature and simply be a part of something fun…something that connects your passion to those passions of others.”
I decided to do my popcorn box in a Minecraft theme, in honor of my four darling children who are hardcore Minecraft fans! Here is my Minecraft Creeper Popcorn Box. I used paint chips to create the creeper’s face and features! And I filled the box with a snack mix made from popcorn, marshmallow creme, and lots of green sugar! It’s sweet, like me. 😀
When my daughter Lexi saw my Minecraft box, she wanted to make one of her own! I love this little gal of mine so much. She is so crafty and cute. She and her sisters all all so creative, but Lexi always initiates cool little projects. Did I mention she decided to make herself a superhero cape the other day and sewed it all together before I even realized what was going on? Yeah. Crazy 9-year-olds. Anyway. Here is Lexi’s darling box!
She and her friends have their own Turtle Club, complete with official vests. Turtles rule!
And here are all the other unique entries – each one so different and so reflective of each designer!
There’s a little contest involved – you don’t have to pick a favorite, just enter for fun! You can win a $50 Fandango Movie gift card, along with a pack of popcorn boxes from World Market to decorate and a gift pack of craft supplies from I Love to Create. a Rafflecopter giveaway
Good luck!
