Thanksgiving bliss.
Last year, I broke my leg the week before Thanksgiving, and my Thanksgiving dinner was spent zoned out on Percocet, being pushed around in a wheelchair at a mediocre seafood buffet. This year was a thousand times better! Just your typical turkey dinner at the folks' house, but it was just perfect. I got to hang out with my sister and everything. But…turtles!
My little girls, Nikki and Lexi, are completely turtle crazed. I'm really not sure why, but they are obsessed with anything turtle-related. They even started a Turtle Club at school and asked me to design shirts once. It's nutso. Anyway, I just happened to remember just now that KAYLEY was bugging me for a turtle last year!
