SWAPS for Girl Scout Camp

It’s been years since I’ve been to Girl Scout camp, so I forgot all about making SWAPS. And I only just discovered that SWAPS is an acronym – Special Whatchamatcallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere. None of my girls are in a Girl Scout Troop, but Mallory is going to Girl Scout camp this summer with her friend Jordan and making SWAPS has become a thing. Here are two ideas created with felt, buttons and ribbon.

Kunin SWAPS 2

Since Mallory isn’t actually in a troop this year, she doesn’t have a vest. I guess our next project will be to design a way for her to display and admire her SWAPS when she gets home!

Here are two other fun ideas that you can find over on MeAndMyInklings and the blog at Kunin Group.
