I love Teacher Appreciation Week, which is coming right up in the first week of May. We have amazing teachers at our school and I do all I can to show them how much I appreciate them all year long!
This year, I am gifting Nikki and Lexi’s teacher these adorable personalized notepads from Expressionery.com. I picked a snowboarder for Mrs. Ampe’s stationery because we live in gorgeous Colorado, she actually does snowboard, and she just happens to have an AWESOME bench in her classroom made out of a real snowboard! I think they came out SO cute.
I used my Ellison All-Star die cut machine to create a gift tag for Mrs. Ampe’s present and stamped it with my kids’ own personalized stamp which I also picked up from Expressionery. My kids love having a way to personalize their gifts!
Here’s how cute it came out! I hope she loves it. (She will love it.)
Even MORE EXCITING, though, is this darling stamp I got for my daughter Kayley. I can’t wait to give it to her! Kayley is a teacher at a daycare. Not just any daycare. She is teaching at the daycare she went to from age 2 to 10. It is a family owned and operated business and her boss used to be her kindergarten teacher! I love how she’s come full circle and gets to work at a place that feels like home to her, among people who have watched her grow up. Occasionally I will be searching for some old picture on a hard drive and come across a picture of wee little Kayley from the daycare days, hanging out on the playground or on a field trip – of course, I send it right over to her so she can show all her kiddos. I love this one – this is Kayley and her boss, taken 14 years ago on the day she graduated from kindergarten.
Of course, now she is a grown up lady living her own life, with a whole classroom of littles calling her Ms. Kayley! I am so proud of my daughter – she is awesome.
Here is the stamp I got for her! She can use it to make her own personalized stationery or even stamp little notes and newsletters she sends home at the end of the day. Love it.
It’s so cute! The little crayons are such a nice touch.
Special thanks to Expressionery for providing product for this post.
