Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day! My middle schoolers and their friends all hit Pi Day at their school, where they were doing a 3.14 mile/5K run and eating lots of pie!

Last night, I painted a ceramic wedge-shaped dish to look like a piece of pie for Pi Day! I should’ve planned ahead and made it sooner, because I wasn’t counting on the 15 hours of firing in the kiln. Whoops! It’ll be ready for Pi Day next year.
