Spinach Salad with Cherries

I love salads. I especially love salads that don’t involve iceberg lettuce and ranch dressing, which is my sweet husband’s definition of a good salad. Spinach salads are bomb, and I have about three favorite spinach salad recipes that are all a little different. Here is a good one with a fun twist – cherries! They really do make everything better. This salad comes together in seconds and makes a great side dish with some grilled chicken.

This uses bagged spinach greens from your supermarket, along with almonds, feta cheese, Cherry Man brand farm-to-table cherries. The dressing is made from balsamic vinegar and the juice from the cherries.

Yum! So quick and easy.

Spinach Salad with Cherries

  • 10 ounces bagged spinach
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 jar Cherry Man farm-to-table cherries, stems removed and cherries halved (reserve juice)
  • 1 cup reserved juice from cherries
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vineger

  1. Combine spinach greens, feta, almonds, and cherries in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine juice and vinegar. Dress salad, toss to combine.
