Special thanks to Expressionery for providing product for this post.
Spring time is here! That means spring break, unpredictable weather, and…teacher appreciation gifts! I’m so grateful that my kids have so many wonderful teachers. This gift, however, isn’t for one of my kids’ teachers. It’s for another very special teacher in my life: my daughter Kayley, who is a room leader with a class of 3-year-olds at the very daycare she herself spent many years attending.
I always knew Kayley would be a great teacher. After all, growing up with four little babies requires a lot of patience. Throughout the years, she and her brother Pablo formed a very special bond, and I can think of no better autism advocate – she started at a young age! I love that she’s come full circle and ended up working at her old school. Her kindergarten teacher is now her boss! She says it’s almost like working in the family business, because the staff there has known her most of her life, and truly were responsible for much of her upbringing. It’s a very special and fortunate circumstance that Kayley is part of this very special staff.
Gifting little goodies is always fun, but I especially love getting stuff for my kids – what mom doesn’t? I decided to make a little basket of goodies for Kayley to keep, and another one for her to share with the rest of the staff. Expressionery makes wonderful personalized stationery and other products that are awesome gifts for teachers or anyone. I love their personalized notepads – they are great for sending notes to school! I thought Kayley would like a notepad of her own to go along with the personalized self-inking stamp she already uses. I love how it turned out!
I added some cute sticky notes and a bag of truffles, and it turned out so cute and springy – almost like an Easter basket!
I have heard that Kayley’s coworkers LOVE the personalized stamp she uses on correspondence to parents, so now they have one that everybody can use! And along with it, I included a few essentials for dealing with kids all day: hand sanitizer, gum, and secret candy!
Here’s a closer look at their new personalized self inking stamp. I hope they like it!
Teachers work so hard, and often for so little. We need to reach out and show them our appreciation whenever we can! Saying thank you goes a long way. Backing it up with a fun gift is even better!
