I don’t know about you guys, but at our house, the weekend after Thanksgiving means CHRISTMAS SEASON IS HAPPENING, OMG.
We put up our tree and decorated the mantel, and although the gorgeous Colorado weather on Saturday would have been perfect for hanging our outside lights, my hubby went on a well-deserved motorcycle ride with his homies instead. I can’t blame him. We won’t have many more gloriously sunny Saturdays for riding – gotta take advantage!
The kiddos and I decided to get into our Christmas-decorating mood by whipping up some cookies. These could not be easier. We baked sugar cookies using refrigerated dough and then sprinkled peppermint chips on top while they were still hot. Does that even qualify as a recipe. TO ME IT DOES! Sometimes we need elaborate, but sometimes we just need cute and quick.
Santa wants cute cookies, I heard. These are super cute and super delish, too! Check out the great DIY Christmas with Kids bloghop going on this week. You can find some great ideas of things to do with your kiddos!
