Restaurant Style Salsa

The best part about going out for Mexican food, besides the margaritas, of course, is the chips and salsa! And I have the most easiest, tasty recipe for restaurant-style salsa to share with you!

Restaurant Style Salsa


  • 1 small onion
  • 1 med. bunch cilantro
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes
  • 2 serrano chiles, seeded, deveined, and diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper


  1. Peel onion and chop into fourths. Place in the bottom of blender.
  2. Cut stems from cilantro and place next in blender.
  3. Add all other ingredients to blender and pulse several times, until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
