Kayley's Bad Luck

its-a-gimp-party So, y’all know I fell and broke my leg last month. Some of you may not know, however, that my teenager ALSO FELL AND BROKE HER LEG. Yeah. I don’t know what the odds are of such an event happening twice in one family so close together – but I am a woman who had two sets of twins in the span of 17 months, so I shouldn’t have been surprised, I suppose.

Here’s the story: Kayley was walking to the bus stop to pick up the littles after school last Monday, along with our little chiweenie, Cali. Somehow, she stepped off the edge of the sidewalk and fell, fracturing the small bone in her right leg. So, much like her mama, she has been on crutches, completely incapacitated, and strung out on painkillers. It’s been a PARTY over here, I’ll tell ya.

Feel free to leave her good wishes on Twitter: @kayleycane. She is so sad and lonesome! Got any good broken leg jokes for us?

Oh no! Double bummer! I don’t know what the odds are, but I broke both my arms at the same time when I was about 15, and my husband broke both his arms at the same time within the first year of our marriage. (Don’t even want to know the odds for *that*!) With tow broken arms you don’t need crutches, but you cannot do much anyway…

Get better soon, both of you!

Thanks – omg, I can’t even imagine breaking both arms!! How do you even…I can’t…wow.

    That so sucks!
What do you call a lady with one leg?

What do you call her if she’s Asian?
